¿Un Cafecito?, is our leadership workshop series for Spanish-speaking immigrant mothers in our Davis Joint Unified School District.

Our mothers receive a gift card for every workshop they attend, because we recognize their time is valuable, and because hours they spend in the workshops could be time they spend earning money instead. We need to make the workshops worth their while.

Every workshop is a two-way learning opportunity. While our facilitators and presenters offer information to our mothers, the mothers also teach us about their experiences, their needs, and their hopes.
