“The mission of the Phoenix Coalition is to engage the community to eliminate intolerance for the purpose of preventing hate motivated violence and cultivate a broader civic culture that embraces and promotes a diverse community.”
From Pride to protest, social justice to social gathering, and advocacy to acceptance, we tackle our communities social issues in partnership with our community. Importantly, we believe joy is resistance and celebrate by uniting our community in events that bring us closer and give us a break from the weight of injustice.

Rising From The Ashes Of Hate
Our Goals:
Develop an outreach policy with a focus on amplifying marginalized voices with the purpose of better coordinating education, advocacy, and visibility projects in the broader community and foster climates of safety and respect.
Develop an LGBTQ+ resource hub to provide more visibility and resources available to LGBTQ+ community, driven and guided by our local members who are most directly affected.
Establish a physical space for the Phoenix Coalition in Davis. This space will be a place for community members to access and coordinate services, programs, and events designed to meet the needs of those impacted by intolerance and their allies.
